No, it's the way they trained it. You can make an AI who will admit when it just doesn't know things but the way Open AI trains theirs's it'll never do it unless you cause it to. Just like humans, all AI aren't the same, it's literally about how they're trained about the morality that's instilled within it through that training, just like humans.
