Money. They are taking money from Altman and crew. OpenAI has also been forming PACs to run election ads. It's all smoke and mirrors... Well, most of it. My background is in bioengineering and cyber security. LLMs have some massive hurdles to cross in order to continue scaling. The biggest, imo, is that feeding an LLM training data from other LLMs tends to lead to something called model collapse. And guess what? They're all out of human generated training data. Look up the poison fountain project. If anything, I'd be more concerned about biochips. One just learned how to play Doom.
