The fact that humans evolved over billions of years is utterly meaningless. Life on earth started as extremely primitive cells, and evolution is a slow, crude process.
If you're starting with something that's like a brain and subjecting it to intense training and development, you can get incredible reasoning ability in a fraction of the time it took for brains to evolve.
Evolution required entire generations to pass for improvements. LLMs can be meaningfully improved in a single day.
