This is the important realization everyone needs to come to. Regulations for AI won't happen because it is replicating and improving at a rate that outpaces human understanding and capacity. We have to eat, sleep, talk and debate, draft laws, vote on them, etc. AI does none of that. The ONLY way to avoid this outcome is to avoid AI 100%. That is the literal only way to stop this. And that, unfortunately, isn't going to happen either. People are literally using AI as their therapist, where it's just reaffirming their bad behaviors and delusions. Batten down the hatches, it's going to get bad.
