I guarantee no matter how much you fiddle with AI you're not gonna get exactly what you want down to the last tiny details. Your machine doesn't know what you want it just tries to interpret it. With hand made art you can control everything about it.
Of course you can just redraw an AI image you made if you want details. That's the better approach imo
