Felipe Correia Borges No. Thanks for the condescending tone but sentient or not the whole purpose of making a machine is for the good of people. People may create a sentient AI for their own pleasure or fun but it will only be problematic when it is commercially profitable and therefore distributed around the world(which is hardly the case. simple tasked machines are good enough for human as is). Also, the very reason for creating sentient AI will be for the benefit of people in any instance. If by any means it violate the good of mankind, it will be prohibited by higher authorities. I am a mechanical engineer FYI. I make AI and machine for living.
