I think that's really what people are upset about, art is just the canary in the coal mine. If it can replace the expression of the human soul and experience, it can and will absolutely replace everything else. So it's only a matter of time, we are outsourcing our own species, which totally inverts the "technology is to serve mankind" Philosophy. You could argue it would be serving mankind if it meant it will free humanity from having to work in order to pursue what they deem valuable, fine- but those things will already have been made irrelevant by the AI that just 'freed' us. I think the AI revolution is going to make the industrial one look like a small sneeze.
