AI art generation is yet to turn a profit. its only upheld by investor injections. once they want money back and dont get any itll die. support tools wont but straight up gen most likely will. especially with how much more AI art will be made. it will flare up more and more untill there is to little usable data to improve the models(wich is needed btw. these ai models *need* a constant injection of new data or they will start to deteriorate in quality real fucing quick) and from there investor inteest is lost and the whole thing dies down to a niche side thing that some people make as uni projects or some such. ai art gen really isnt here to stay.
