@RuthvenMurgatroyd Fair point. I guess what irks me about this "democratization" talk is that it implies art is some closed-off, elitist space. And while there are certainly spaces like that in art, art itself has always been democratic, at least for those who care about art for art's sake and not only as a product. As in, even if you're a total amateur at drawing or painting or whatever, you're still making art; just not commercially viable art. So what these people mean when they say AI is democratizing "art", what they really mean is "art as a product".
