Art is a luxury. If you cannot afford it, either be willing to settle for something "lower quality" or just don't buy it at all. If you're not willing to pay for it, you do not deserve it. Or alternatively, you should learn to do it yourself so you don't *have* to pay someone else to do it for you! But you are not entitled to luxury for simply existing. And that's the problem with you AI supporters. You're either too entitled to want to pay a real human to make original art for you, and/or (in one way or another) too lazy to learn to draw the art on your own.
Also, keep in mind that when you buy human-made art, you're not just paying for the final product, but also the artist's time and skill. Considering how many years of practice and study it can take to become a "quality artist", and the time it can take for a person to make a single "quality piece of art" (which I assume refers to a fully rendered piece from a skilled artist), $20 would actually be a damn steal.
