I'm also pretty scared since I want to be an indie developer and have dreamed of making games since i was in 1rst grade. I'm scared that ai will make the game dev position obsolete since AI is learning how to draw, write, code, and make music at an alarming rate. At the rate things are going, i fear that by the time I'm finished with my game, it will be lost in a sea of new releases, all with stunning visuals, cool mechanics, and intriguing stories, fully made by ai.
Hopefully, new laws against ai will be made soon but until then, we can only watch as ai begins to plague our communities and make everything we've worked so hard to achieve meaningless. i wish you luck and hopefully we'll both still have some purpose as the years go on.
