What you’re saying isn’t mutually exclusive with the video. What she’s saying isn’t that we should unequivocally trust states to correctly identify misinformation it’s that AI being allowed to spread misinformation without regulation is a far more real and literal threat. Yes hypothetically states may try to regulate what AI can say to have a slant or be discriminatory but allowing AI to continue actually misinforming people is not an appropriate response to that. These things need to be handled with care and nuance. Something that banning regulations and laws(even strictly for the states) doesn’t allow.
