Actually, we should be real. These transnational companies developing and selling AI are sufferings from pathologically greed and not an ounce of ethics or concern for society. The AI impact is far more threatening than changing from horse to cars. A massive number of industries - and the global market - are at risk. There are actually people dying from this change, environmentally as well as job loss/suicide.
