@LinkEX Well, tech advancement is exponential and not linear. So, the same fit that took years to achieve can now be done in months. Due to that fact, we will never know when exactly AI will catch up to the level of an elite dev. But we do know it'll not be anytime soon, at least. Idk what AI is the pinnacle of SE right now. I use Gemini from time to time, and it writes about 3000 lines of code in just one prompt. This looks big, but actual programs, apps, and systems are built in hundreds of thousands of lines, if not millions, and with all security, and not to mention the necessity of cryptographic techniques and stuff. Even with the current number of lines of code it generates, I often notice imperfections. With all these, I assume we are safe for now, but nothing is permanent.
