Automated refuelling for road vehicles had been possible for quite a long time. It's cheaper at present to have the driver do it. Automated truck companies will threaten to make their own refueling stations, then where will be a battle over who gets the upside in that relationship. Maybe legislation will require all service stations to have systems that enable robot refueling.
