I am an average person with average IQ. This idea where an AI will be invented that doesn't hallucinate or go haywire (aka do mistakes) sounds super crazy to me. People make mistakes... like a lot so you are talking about an AI that is basically doing almost no mistakes while thinking. Now that stuff is scary to me because one doesn't need too many jumps in 'thinking' in order to see that no people = no problems on this planet and no problems = much better environment for the AI. If I start to think and do a great job and do lets say mistakes 5% of the time where I learn from those... the AI will replace people alright just not in the way that people want it done. Thinking AI should scare the frak out of everyone on the planet... saying that I am cheering for it! Scared or not chances are some things are better off not existing... aham!
