@2crüdebanduh, yes, because they create the prompt. My point was they get credit for a prompt. And a nice golf clap. Personally if I wanted a piece of art made, I would pay for the painter, not the prompter. And I don’t think a “promptist” is an especially refined craft. I can give someone credit for writing a phrase to generate a 1 in 100 variant of a scene. But they get no credit for hand-mind skill.
The definition of art is pretty wide-ranging. I’m starting my own painting business and AI is infuriating. But as long as a seller *clearly advertizes* that AI is doing all the work, fine. For me, I’d be happy if AI artists peddled their wares exclusively in BitCoinland.
