Yeah, it’s curious how quickly senior leadership began attacking software engineers once LLMs entered the market. Ironically, some of the loudest voices come from companies that were built from the ground up by software engineers. A lot of the rhetoric from senior leadership about AI’s impact on software engineering feels like an attempt to sow fear among engineers and further tilt the labor market in their favor.
