That's very unlikely. The friendly AI must be at the same level of intelligence of enemy AI. The main problem is here. A low level intelligence can't dictate to a higher intelligence to what should it do. This is like chimpanzees trying to manipulate us and force us to protect them. Humans have done many unethical behavior to other humans for thousands of years. We forced some people to be our slaves because their skins were something like brown or black. Many people hate other races for silly reasons. The AI is a completely different species. It read our history and knows our cruelty better than us. The friendly AI may end up destroying us to protect other forms of life like what we do for pest control.
