That's not even considering the risks introduced by cyber-warfare, and grid based vulnerabilities. Have a bad actor take out a dozen data-centers, cut some undersea fiber optics cables, or even natural disasters that put a constraint on water supplies / energy production, and that's your AI controlled operation on its knees. Most of the global manufacturing infrastructure in vulnerable enough as it it - full automating it is the definition of putting all your eggs in one basket.
