@unfortunateapple3077 Oh I agree. I’m doing a graphic novel as a passion project (my hobby) and it just cannot be done with AI alone. As you said, there is a process. From research, to storyboarding, to paneling, and etc. Anyone that’s been consuming art can immediately notice if something is done organically or not.
And if we are talking about "reputation" here, if you noticed someone who's profiting from an AI art, it's easy to call them out. Just ask them to show their drafts or make them redraw the art piece. lol.
AI artists reminds me of graphic designers who only uses "Canva" and call themselves "designers". There's a reason why those people cannot be hired in a high paying job as Canva is limited in creative aspect. You really need to learn industry programs and not only that, have an actual conceptualizing skill.
