@Moonstvre Would someone say a painter isn’t a real artist because they used a new kind of brush or digital tablet? Would they say filmmakers aren’t real directors because they used editing software or CGI? Tools evolve, but the creator’s mind is what gives a story heart and meaning.
Also, if we’re being honest, every professional writer uses tools—beta readers, editors, thesauruses, software like Scrivener or Grammarly. ChatGPT is just a more interactive version of those. It’s no different from brainstorming with a writing partner or bouncing ideas off a friend, except now that “partner” can help you work through every step, 24/7.
Even famous authors, have used AI. They just didn’t say they used it. It’s called working smarter not harder so you can go on keep struggling and writing your book while other people are publishing and selling millions lol
