Ma Us ngl, haven’t read/seen LOTR since grade 5 & completely forgot about that. but i feel like the full explanation supports the idea that even if there were well intentions behind facial recognition software, it would be easily abused. sure, in theory, it has potential to be a good thing, but implementing it into an already corrupt legal system ensures the cons outweighing all the pros.
