You are forgetting AI is developed at a breakneck speed and now biological AI is even on the horizon. It already automates PHD research in stem. Unless we are true prodigies, we won’t be able to economically stand above AI and thus significantly lose economic importance.
Yes, handwork is paradoxically more difficult because it has much less strict rules to follow. So this will still take a decade to be able to fully automate.
But what happens when everyone is a plumber ? Why should then anyone hire us if he can fix his own shortcomings at home!
