An art is a culmination of the various permutations and combinations of an artists' experiences and skills. Digital or traditional, the artist put time and effort into a piece which is made with many emotions.
Image generation has neither of those things. The next generation of AI might become better as things evolve but it'll never take away the intention.
And also AI companies steal stuff without credits, that's a different legal issue in itself.
