@idkthehandleusername I understand where you are coming from. and at same time I believe that you, as well as the author, try to justify your point based on classical painters perspective. you look at image generation as if it was competing with painting them while in my belief it is not. and this is the whole problem with these anti-ai videos I watch, people look at this process and criticize it from the painter's art perspective. and now I want you to hear me: these same arguments were used against photographers. painters, classical artists, viewed them as inferior, since camera is “just an instrument that puts in everything” - as Eugene Delacroix once said and photographers quite literally just had to «press a button». and for this were viewed as “would-be painters, ... painters too ill-endowed or too lazy to complete their studies” so this is my point - I don't believe that ai will replace painters or can be even comparable since it is entirely different medium, just like cameras. just like 3D or CGI. I bet that early 3D clips would have upset you just as much as ai imagery today, compared to the traditional manual animations. but it will change and will progress. I hope I have made my point clear.
