The question isn't if we could make a robot that does the job. We can already. The question is if it will ever be more cost effective to build and maintain a plumbing robot than to just pay a guy with a wrench to do it. We might get there, but most likely almost every job that doesn't require a physical body will go first since the only hurdle there is having enough training data.
