@timtaylor-lo9hs In fact, today's AI is not programmed, it is more "grown", and we can't control it and we can't predict it. And sentience is not the issue. The question is, will artificial super intelligent processes be better at manipulating the world than you, and the answer is yes. There's a lot out there where you can learn about this stuff, and I think you'll get it soon!
