@ most intricate patterns actually. Ai kinda sucks at creating figures and complex structures but it excells in patterns. Hell ai works entirely by finding patterns between the work it's trained on to generate images. When I say it's impossible to replicate these patterns by hand I mean it's impossible to do so to the same level of precision as ai. Replicating any pattern generated by an ai to the same level of precision is like competing with a calculator to solve a complex math problem. In fact digital artists to some extent already use ai in this way. The patterns in different brush textures commonly used in digital art is technically speaking generated by ai, the artist using said textures certainly isn't drawing out all those details by hand every time after all. As for techniques AI uses I was honestly just referring to the intense calculation AI does in order to generate it's images. Again AI should not be trained with stolen works or used as a means of replacing art. However, with proper management of the training data, and proper use, I do think ai has its place as a tool artists can make use of and has in fact already been a part of artists tool kit for years in a more rudimentary form.
