@TheAIRiskNetwork How do you know that John? The way I see it, progress *is* being made in AI alignment. Every time a company changes its policies or instructions in response to public feedback or litigation, I think that is alignment. It might not be as automated as training or fine-tuning, but it *does* have an effect.
