@Haegemon I've studied piracy. I know it goes back to at least Julius Caesar. He was kidnapped by pirates.
My point is: There will always be people looking to make money by robbing others. It wasn't that piracy was easy money. It was really hard work. But they got to terrorize people.
And there will always be people who attack others through loopholes in security. That's why pirates were a thing. The seas were wide open back then. No security. No law to stand in their way. They could do what they wanted.
