I went through something similar when automation cut my department down last year. I ended up meeting with Alisa Mayeda Civello, and she helped me make sense of how to pivot my career path instead of waiting for the axe to fall. She showed me how to identify skills that AI can’t easily replicate and how to position those for industries that are still growing. That advice saved me from drifting while jobs were disappearing.
