A very cynical and fallacious take regarding writers. America’s GINI coefficient is more unequal then some developing countries. You know, the ones with massive geopolitical corruption? The ones where rights and laws are more nebulous? I love to write, although I have slowed down a lot since learning programming, but this take is essentially the reactionary and emotive “Well if Writers are being statistically underpaid and profits and general media availability is up, then why shouldn’t they ‘demand’ better conditions? Seems like they aren’t bringing their best work somehow, thats why.”
It wouldn’t even be so bad if you didn’t even start with the MORE cynical and fallacious take that “There is nothing creative about ChatGPT.”
Creativity is highly subjective. It is not objective. Creativity is in the eye of the beholder.
I think you just need to re-evaluate your entire perception because this is not reasonable one bit.
