@jomoo7479 WTF are you talking about? I called you out for your lack of proof, and therefore a lack of understanding how AI actually works. AI generation doesn't copy art, they use a dataset they're trained on (so images posted online by people) and generate random pixels in a field of noise until they create something that resembles what's prompted. They can't copy art because they don't inherently know what the art is, unless the AI is literally pulling the exact images off of google and claiming that they're "ai generated" or "original" (which isn't what most of them do). It can use many forms of expression in art, which includes creating its own style, but it can't generate anything outside of the given prompt, so "taking chances" depends on the person using the bot and how they specify the image that they want. You're saying AI art is OK and not OK in the same sentence, do you even hear yourself? Don't call me ignorant when you lack the self awareness to create a coherent response. Just because there's a lot of it doesn't mean it's a bad thing, I have no idea how you're conflating those two things. The whole point of AI generated art is to cut out the middle man so that art is more accessible to a larger audience. You just hate that fact and want to gatekeep art to humans only and ban anything that's even slightly different. By your logic, nature can't be artistic because it's not human and wasn't created by a human, and yet plenty of people describe lots of incredible places on Earth like that. Use some common sense, AI isn't stealing art.
