@xonious9031 So... Did you not listen to anything talked about in the hearing? The biggest complaint being lodged is that the AI companies didn't even bother buying the books they were ripping off of. The AI companies went to pirating websites and just torrented by the thousands. The engineers at Meta explicitly sent messages amongst each other acknowledging that they were committing piracy and even conspired with such things as pointing out that Meta's servers should be avoided when torrenting.
