Yes, your statistics are literally lying. Tesla claims 320 million miles driven on vehicles equipped with autopilot, not 320 million miles driven on autopilot. In fact, their condition is even weaker: "in vehicles equipped with Autopilot hardware". This means any Tesla with AEB (automatic emergency braking) qualifies. We know that automatic emergency braking dramatically reduces accidents. That does not imply Autopilot, the system activated by the driver, is any safer than human drivers.
