There is also a chapter in Asimov's _I, Robot_ with a robot who interpreted "you must not harm humans" as also meaning to not cause emotional harm. So it lied. It lied with the best of intentions, because it didn't want to break a human's heart. But of course, the lies it told led to much worse problems.
