@beakhole793 when you say Mitchell "understands" AI what do you mean, exactly? Because as far as I can tell she has absolutely no idea what it is or how it works. The other three people on stage are at least qualified to be there. They have worked specifically with the technology in question. Mitchell has worked with genetic algorithms and cellular automata - completely separate fields. She has no experience with the subject of the discussion whatsoever, namely deep learning systems.
