AI is nothing that Art is, art is a form of expression, and as a professional artist- to have a project you've been working on for hours, days, or maybe even years get replicated in an AI generated prompt with your name, is the equivalent of somebody stealing your art without a doubt.
And AI will never be able to achieve real artwork, it lacks the will, the actual desire to create something with a goal in end or to have an idea of its own that isn't inputted by a person or an abundance of information from the web, and it feels so much more appealing to commission an artist rather than shoving your idea into a generator that pumps out soulless garbage.
