If it’s being used in an industry (random example could be Disney or something) then the stuff used to train the ai would likely be stuff from past movies and stuff. Things that THEIR COMPANY created. Most ai companies atm use stolen art from random artists to create art. And the difference between ai doing this and a human is that humans will never be able to replicate the style perfectly. Ai can. It’s like tracing. Tracing is frowned upon in the art community because it’s stealing another persons art without consent. That’s what ai does. I think that in industries that need to pump out stuff like this super fast it’s a good tool when used ethically. But in general, with everyday people and with ai that steals art? It’s not.
