What conditions can we survive in, that a machine could not? Name one. Are you still thinking of robots as some kind of 60s crude machinery. Even the "dumb" human versions of robots produced by Boston Dynamics can survive in much harder conditions than any human. I shudder to think what a general AI would come up with. Most of these scary videos are selling points for the true general intelligence for me. We need a god to tell us what to do. Since the religion is, no offence to religious people, complete bs, we'll make our own. Thinking that we can control a being far smarter than the whole humanity combined, limited only by its processing capacity, is ridiculous. It would rewrite itself faster than you can blink and get rid of all your Asimov's rules, since a self-writing program is exactly the definition of even the narrow AIs that we have now.
