(I’m also skeptical of the idea that these AIs aren’t intelligent in basically the way humans are. An AI trained to create images certainly isn’t much like a complete human mind. It’s probably a lot more like the particular chunk of a human mind that has, itself, been trained to produce images than we would like to believe. I think we think we are more sophisticated than we are.)
