@nils9853 Nobody will give a damn about the ban when there will be plenty of autonomous drones in the civilian sector anyway. Companies already chasing the first humanoid robot to replace factory workers. Honda's Asimo has been in the works for decades while there are plenty of newcomers like Boston Dynamics and recently even Tesla. Repurposing these humanoid robots into killing machines will be a matter of software update, so I am not entirely sure how would you want to enforce the ban and at the same time compete with other nations in automatization/productivity... it just not going to happen especially if you are aware about questionable things already in service...
My proposal while fairly pessimistic in proliferation prevention is just far more realistic than any attempt at banning technology that is required for the aging population in developed nations to function with a healthy economy in the second half of this century.
