@oz_bogan Even before AI existed the copyright issue was insane.
A technical patent for a time machine would last a FRACTION of a lame copy pasta formula Sia song.
The industry is rotten to the bones and it's not just about "the little guy can't afford" - it's just illogical, undeserved and stupid.
A best case result I could think of would be massively breaking down copyright laws to a point where they match a technical patent and that's it.
But I don't think it's that easy, sadly.
So good luck curing cancer and getting less protection for that feat than a random artist meowing into a microphone.
