100%. AI is a tool used by HUMANs, and the human is the one shaping the output, the human is the one with the perspective, the artistic vision, and who is ultimately the one directing the AI controls like a screen-writer.
There is no AI agent, the AI is not a person, there are many tools that are dubbed as "AI" but every single one of them requires an artist in the seat driving it.
Additionally, while photography is undoubtedly considered an art today, we probably don't consider every selfie ever uploaded to social media as art. There's garbage low effort creations in all mediums, which comes down to why we have 'artist' as a distinct category from 'creative person' in the first place.
