How would crypto be better than learning something? Knowledge is power. Crypto is disgusting. AI is disgusting. We learn because knowledge is more important than currency. Because we want to better ourselves and the world around us. AI and crypto do neither of those things. The only relatively good thing about crypto is that it allows people in very specific situations the opportunity to exchange some form of currency. For instance, women in restrictive governments/religions who still have the ability to run their own businesses because they can exchange crypto. Iran is often able to exchange money elsewhere because of crypto. That's the only positive I see out of it. I'm really sorry this world has become so bleak, but knowledge is still valuable. You are still valuable. And both you and your knowledge will forever be far more valuable than crypto or AI ever could be. They're a drain on society. You are not.
