The problem with dealing with old code is that there is tricks or hidden requirements, sprinkled in the code that may not be documented. Also odd test for conditions or test may be rare or never happen anymore.
That’s why everybody hates dealing with old code.
That means the AI has to be well acquainted with various tricks that different programming languages have
