That's the problem. People do care. We just don't have a voice. Anyone who can do anything gets lobbied (Bribed) or their career ruined. We can't "vote with our wallets" since these things are mainly funded by venture firms with fomo. Money is just cycling a few people and businesses so we are screwed on that front. So unless we all basically mob the streets for weeks on end to stop any productivity to force change. (which we can't easily due to most people working paycheck to paycheck and being unable to miss work). So long story short. We are screwed and if sentient AI comes along I just hope they are better leaders than the idiots we have currently.
