there is nothig to connect to in case of LLMs. To be a being means to be an agent, and LLM chatbots arent agents. They just genereta text that looks like it could be produced by an aget, kida like image generators generate images that look like cats. But the cats arent real, and thats obvious. Its exactly the same with LLMs. Until they are agents, they arent BEINGS. And when we do launch agentic AIs, they will still be too alien to have any empathy for them. Like, consider having empathy for paperclip maximiser. Yeah nah.
