the problem is not acceptance or us accepting we are equals. it's the other way around. we can program it to be helpful, encouraging etc, and it might seem to behave as expected. but imagine being a tiny ant or spider and having an elephant in front of you. you can be the most compassionate and accepting little creature but ultimately if that elephant decides to go somewhere and especially if he is in a hurry: it will go where it will want to and the only question will be: were you in it's way when it decided to start running instead of walking?
